DJ MIKU （DJ/プロデューサー）
80年代よりNew Wave、Electro、Techno、HipHop、DiscoSoundをベースに東京の6つのクラブ、ディスコのレジデンツとして活動。90年代以降はエレクトロニックダンスサウンド(テクノ / ハウス)を極めるべく特化したDJスタイルにシフト。日本初のアフターアワーズ・テクノクラブ「クラブラゼル」にて「アウンダーグラウンド・テクノ」を東京から広めていく。

そして1992年-1996年に開催されていた、ウエアハウスパーティー「Key-energy」のレジデンツDJとしてGOLD、Janggle Bass、Beam Holl、Ball Room、原宿歩行者天国など次々とサウンドシステムと共に場所を移動しプレイを慣行。「Key-energy」は一躍日本のビックパーティーとして世界に認知された。その後も「RAINBOW2000」「Ninja Tune Night」「春風」ロンドン郊外で行われた「BIG CHILL Enchanted Garden」、フランスで行われた野外イベントなど国内外の数々のフェスティバルに出演。

1996年にはレーベル「NewStage Records」を設立。Hideo Kobayashi、DJ Natsuとの３人組みユニット、LOTUSで゛Kasumi exprience"をリリース。同年レーベル名を「NS-COM」に代え、東京、ロンドンを拠点にアーチスト作品を次々リリース。

90年代後期はエレクトロニカ、アブストラクトに傾倒。それらのアーチスト作品のプロデュース、リリースに没頭し、しばらくの間ダンスフロアのＤＪブースに立つことはなくなった。その後、2000年を境にエレクトロニカの４つ打ちという解釈で集めたトラックをプレイするようになる。(世の中ではそれをクリックハウスと呼んでいたことも後から知る)

2001年にはそのクリックハウス・テクノの音源をコンパイルした、DJ MIKU初のMIX CD゛Sequence-phenomenon"をMusic Mineよりリリース。その世界観をひっさげ渋谷WOMBで開催スタートしたCYCLONEのレジデンツDJとしてダンスフロアに復帰。CYCLONEでは6年間継続してプレイする。ここでは海外DJとの共演も多く、Alex Paterson(ORB) Steve Bug (Poker Flat)Roman Fluegel(Cocoon) Luomo(Moodmusic) Damian Lazarus(Crosstown Rebels)Michael Mayer(Komapkt) Reinhard Voigt(Komapkt) Fairmont (Border Community)Stewert Walker(Persona Records) Mike　Shannon(Cynosure)Si Begg (NovaMute) などオーガナイザーが招聘したDJ達も加わり共に盛り上げてきた。

作品は90年代から2010年代までDJ MIKU名義でPickin'mushroom、Pussyfoot、WC recordings、blank records、Music mine、Hypnotic Room)等からリリース。またレーベルBlank Records、ElectricPunchesの設立、アーチストのプロデュース、楽曲提供などマルチな活動も展開してきた。

2012年からは野外パーティー「GLOBAL ARK」を仲間と共に主宰。現場と直結したリアルタイムな音作りを目指す。

2016年6月自身初のソロアルバム「Basic&Axis」を先行デジタルリリース。そして満を持して2016年9月28日CDアルバムとして「Basic&Axis Plus」をリリースした。

In the 1990's, DJ MIKU was early techno winners in Tokyo and marked a start of Tokyo technoscene with his warehouse parties"Key-energy" from 1992 to1996. This party changed the venuewiththe sound system next to next and widelyknown as abigreal techno party in Tokyo.After that, he played at "RAINBOW2000", "Ninja Tune Night",

 HARUKAZE" in Japan, "BIG CHILLENCHANTED GARDEN" in the suburbs of London, andoutdoor party in France. In 1996, he established the label, "NewStage Records"and started LOTUS, the unit with HideoKobayashi & DJ Natsu, and "Kasumiexprience" was released. In the late 90's, He fell in love with electronica, abstract music and devoted himself to produce forthose artists at Tokyo and London bases. After Apart from a period away from the dance floor,he started playing again trucks that wascollected as an interaction of electronica 4/4 kicksby him.

In 2001, his first MIX CD "Sequence phenomenon"was released from Music Mine and hereturned tothe dance floor at WOMB as a Residents DJ in CYCLONE. He showed us a new possibilitiesand the world view of the techno for 6 years.  Many international DJ's, AlexPaterson(ORB),Steve Bug (Poker Flat), RomanFluegel(Cocoon),Luomo(Moodmusic), Damian Lazarus(CrosstownRebels),Michael Mayer(Komapkt), ReinhardVoigt(Komapkt),Fairmont (Border Community),Stewert Walker(Persona Records), MikeShannon(Cynosure), Si Begg (NovaMute) joinedCYCLONE and warmed up Tokyo techno scene with him. Until 2010, he released multi-tracks from Pickin'mushroom, WC recordings, blank records, Music mine, Hypnotic Room. He established the label, Blank Records also ElectricPunches, and hadactivities of producing artists and offering the trucks.From 2011, he organized outside party "GLOBAL ARK"and aim to provide the real time musicdirectly from the field.In 2016 New Album "Basic&Axis" Released.
